SUMMER GARDENS.
After a short Toronto spring long and hot summer invades us here. It is the time when our designs are tested to the limits. By the end of August only strong will stay standing (literally). This page is a testimony to our philosophy of garden design - functionality, selection, ease of maintenance.
After a consultation with our customers we put a list of their priorities, colour scheme, self involvement in garden maintenance and dreadful budgetary restraints. Functionality of the space takes a priority in the design process, next comes the selection of materials and plants, all these are next mixed with the expected maintenance schedule and money available to achieve all above.
After years of practicing what we preach I must say that there are believers around us. Long gone are days when the words like perennials or ornamental grasses sounded suspicious to our potential customers and it is a good thing :)
