WINTER GARDENS.
Very often winter is seen as the end of garden enjoyment. Those who ever put a birdfeeder out in the garden know that it is just another chapter in this enjoyment. It is true we seldom wonder around the garden in January or February here in Toronto but well design back or front yard will bring joy even in days when temperature drops below our acceptable lows. Ornamental grasses, uncut perennials, planters, statues or just evergreens can change white Canadian desert into a picturesque landscape just behind our windows. A good book and a cup of coffee are all we needed to feel soft and cozy.
